Job Overview

Darul Arqam Educational Trust uses social media marketing and our website to ensure our offer to community members is clear and accessible and to support easy enrolments and sign-ups to our classes and events.

Accessible online customer service is integral to our work.

Our Online Customer Relations Operative will be required to:

Update our website to publicise our offer

Respond to enquiries, emails, phone calls and WhatsApp messages from customers

Post updates on our social media accounts

Maintain positive relationships with existing customers, including parents of younger students when queries are raised

Content creation and website design skills are desirable but not essential to the role and training will be provided where appropriate.

We are a small team and will occasionally also require support in other areas of the charity's work, such as designing new courses and activities or supporting with event planning and delivery.

Skills and Qualifications required

Skill 1 - Communication skills

Skill 2 - IT/digital literacy including MS Office and social media platforms

Skill 3 - Customer Service, confidence on the phone and face to face

Skill 4 - Admin skills

Hours per week

35, 11am - 6pm, flexible days.
