Your Role
As a Care Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Registered Manager with the seamless operation of our services. From ensuring compliance with policies and legislation to managing staff and engaging with service users, you'll be at the heart of our mission to deliver exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular visits to service users to review care plans, risk assessments, and documentation such as medication records and daily logs.
- Oversee staff recruitment, training, scheduling, supervision, and performance reviews.
- Prepare detailed work schedules and provide clear guidance to care workers.
- Uphold professional standards in all communication—whether in person, over the phone, or in writing.
- Support the marketing of our services and maintain strong relationships with commissioners, health professionals, and other stakeholders.
Skills and Qualifications required
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Experience in care provision at a supervisory level or above.
- Knowledge of the Care Standards Act 2008 and related legislation for domiciliary and residential care.
- Strong people management and organizational skills.
- Excellent literacy, numeracy, and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in computer use and administrative tasks.
- Flexibility to participate in the ‘out of hours’ call rota.
Desirable:
- Full driving licence.
- NVQ Level 2 qualification or higher.
- Previous experience as a supervisor, senior care worker, or similar role.
