The Simulator Company Ltd is a pioneering manufacturer of advanced simulators for clinical education. As we expand, we're seeking a dedicated Production Technician to join our Midlands facility team. This role is pivotal in crafting high-quality simulators instrumental in healthcare training.

Main Duties:
•    Manufacture and assemble a range of sophisticated therapy support simulators.
•    Engage in various production processes, including electrical engineering tasks, material handling, quality checks, and packaging.
•    Prepare products for dispatch, ensuring they are securely and appropriately packaged.
•    Rotate through different tasks to contribute to all aspects of simulator production.
•    Conduct repair and maintenance of products to ensure their optimal functionality and longevity.
•    Uphold a strong team ethic, meeting deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
•    Adhere to strict housekeeping, health, and safety standards in a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment.
•    Perform general production, assembly, and dispatch tasks, following all safety protocols.
•    Undertake additional duties as required, adapting to various tasks within the production process.

Skills and Qualifications required

Ideal Candidate Profile:
•    Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably with high-tech or medical devices.
•    Solid knowledge in electrical engineering and material sciences.
•    Effective teamwork and collaborative skills.
•    Ability to interpret technical documents, work instructions, diagrams, and drawings.

Preferred Background:
•    Electrical/electromechanical or related technical background preferred, with eagerness to learn additional skills on the job.

Experience:
•    Electrical engineering: 2 years (preferred)
•    Manufacturing: 2 years (preferred)

Hours per week

40 hours per week, 8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
