We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lecturer in Business on a Full-time, permanent basis.

Job purpose:

·         To undertake lecturing and related duties with the full range of skills in order to be able to plan, deliver and evaluate creative and innovative teaching and learning to students.

·         The post-holder shall assist in the coordination of recruitment, enrolment and induction of students and make contribution towards the planning and effective running of the curriculum and department.

·         Establishing and maintaining effective team and other professional relationship

·         Enhancing the team’s performance and its accountability for module leadership

·         To contribute constructively and creatively to the School and a designated learning area participating in:

o   Service planning, delivery and monitoring and reviewing

o   Maintenance and improvement of service delivery

·         To ensure that the highest standard of customer service and care are provided at all times

·         To demonstrate effective leadership i.e. lead modules to high standard

·         To attend staff development training session which will enable staff members to enhance their teaching and academic duties.

Skills and Qualifications required

(essential)

·         Experience teaching and learning at undergraduate, post graduate or equivalent level
·         Work experience within the relevant field
·         Relevant Master’s degree
·         PG Certificate in HE or other Level 7 teaching qualification

(desirable) 

·         PhD in a relevant field
·         Experience of teaching research methods and supporting students in selecting research topics
