Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Door Supervisor to join our team on a zero-hour contract. This role will require flexibility in scheduling, including nights and weekends, to provide essential safety and security services at various locations. The Door Supervisor will play a crucial role in maintaining order, ensuring compliance, and fostering a secure environment for all.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor and control access to diverse venues such as football grounds, student unions, and other special events.
• Verify identification and enforce entry policies to maintain safety and order.
• Conduct searches as necessary to prevent the entry of illegal or dangerous items.
• Handle conflicts or disturbances with professionalism and poise.
• Collaborate closely with other security staff, venue personnel, and emergency services.
• Report any incidents, concerns, or suspicious activities to the Security Manager.
• Adhere to all relevant legal regulations and safety standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service, assisting patrons as needed.

Skills and Qualifications required
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a security role, particularly as a Door Supervisor.
• Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse populations.
• Ability to work on a flexible, zero-hour contract, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of security procedures and legal guidelines.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• First Aid and CPR certifications are preferred.
