Skills Bootcamps offer a flexible and practical way to boost your skills and move closer to the job you want. If you’re 19 or older—whether you’re employed, self-employed, unemployed, or returning to work after a break—they can help you quickly develop expertise in a specific area. Whether your goal is to fast-track into a new role or progress with your current employer, a Skills Bootcamp could be the right step forward.

For employers, Skill Bootcamps provide a cost-effective way to upskill staff and fill skills gaps, with government funding covering the majority of training costs. Employers pay nothing when offering places to unemployed learners, and only a small contribution (typically 10–30%) when upskilling their existing workforce. Developed in partnership with industry, Bootcamps ensure employees gain job-ready skills that can be applied immediately, helping businesses boost productivity, improve staff retention, and access a diverse pipeline of new talent.
