Willmott Dixon

“Willmott Dixon is a privately-owned contracting and interior fit-out group. Founded in 1852, we are dedicated to leaving a positive legacy in our communities and environment and in 2018 were one of only six companies to receive a Queen's Award for Enterprise in the promoting opportunity through social mobility category. We create value for customers, stakeholders and communities by working in a sustainable and responsible way to shape the built environment and make a positive impact to society's well-being”

“Our purpose goes beyond profit. Creating value for our communities is something we passionately believe in, and we strive to constantly find new ways to improve social mobility in communities local to our projects and contracts. As a privately-owned company, being a positive force to deliver social cohesion and provide life-long opportunities for people is important for Willmott Dixon, especially for myself as the fifth generation to lead the company. I am proud of the difference we make through the fantastic efforts of our people.”

Rick Willmott, Group Chief Executive.

Examples of our commitment to supporting people - We have a longstanding relationship with Leicestershire Cares, supporting their WIRE project. Through this we have offered work experience to the participants of the programme, which has led to employment for some of them with our supply chain partners. We have delivered thousands of hours over recent years of 121 mentoring, CV and interview workshops, and careers guidance.
