Mystery Toys Ltd is a fast-growing TikTok Live shopping brand based in Leicester, operating as part of the Claw Kingdom group, the UK's first human claw machine experience. We sell mystery boxes and plush toys direct to consumers through daily TikTok Live streams, and we're building one of Leicester's most exciting live shopping operation from the ground up.
Claw Kingdom has generated over 9.5 million organic views across social media with zero paid media spend and has been verified by the BBC as the UK's first human claw machine experience. Mystery Toys Ltd is the ecommerce arm that sits alongside it, and live shopping is where the growth is happening.
The Role:
We're hiring a confident, magnetic, on-camera personality to host live streams on TikTok, selling mystery boxes and plush toys to a growing audience. This is a part-time role at 20 hours per week, based at our new city centre location on Market Street, Leicester.
You don't need to be a trained presenter. You need to be real, energetic, fast on your feet, and genuinely good at connecting with an audience in real time. Live shopping is part entertainment, part selling, completely live. The best hosts make it look effortless. If you're the right person, this role puts you at the front of one of the fastest-growing retail formats in the UK.
Think of yourself as an entertainer who also happens to sell. Someone who can hold a live audience, build regulars, and turn viewers into buyers through personality alone.
What You'll Do:
• Host TikTok Live streams selling mystery boxes and plush toys from our Leicester city centre HQ
• Build genuine audience rapport with repeat viewers, community regulars and returning fans
• Drive real-time sales through energy, personality and selling at the right moment to drive action
• Develop recurring show segments, audience rituals and catchphrases that keep viewers coming back
• React live to comments, shoutouts and viewer interactions, keeping the stream energetic and fresh
• Collaborate with the marketing team on show planning, product drops and campaign tie-ins
• Maintain high energy and consistency across multiple live sessions per week
• Help grow the Mystery Toys Ltd TikTok audience through your presence and personality

Skills and Qualifications required
Essential:
• Confident and natural on camera, no script required
• A genuine entertainer who holds attention without effort and makes people want to stay
• Fast, reactive and sharp, with the ability to thrive in a live unscripted environment
• High energy and consistent across multiple live sessions per week
• An authentic personality that viewers like, trust and come back for
• Good understanding of TikTok, its culture and how the platform works
• Strong spoken communication, clear and confident
• Comfortable with product selling and not shy about driving purchases
Desirable:
• Experience with TikTok Live, Instagram Live or any live streaming platform
• Background in presenting, performing, retail, customer-facing or events roles
• Existing TikTok following or content creation experience
• Understanding of social commerce, live selling formats or how live selling works
• Degree or study in media, communications, marketing, drama or a related field
Hours per week
20 hours per week. Allocated stream times will be assessed and scheduled based on customer demand and analytical data. Exact pattern agreed on appointment.
