Job Description
We are recruiting for supported living accommodation and support for young adults 18-65 who have learning disabilities and complex needs, including autism, ADHD, mental health, and behaviours that can be challenging.
Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to individuals in need, for those in our Supported living environments. This position requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personal care, medication administration, and behaviour management.
We confirm that we are not offering sponsorship for this role. Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK, and we are unable to support Skilled Worker visa sponsorship or any other visa sponsorship route for this position.
This role is only open to candidates who can provide valid evidence of their existing right to work in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation of medication administration.
- Implement behaviour management strategies to support clients with various needs.
- Support clients in daily living activities and promote their independence.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses, to develop individualised care plans.
- Respond promptly to client needs and emergencies while providing first aid when necessary.

Skills and Qualifications required
- Previous experience in care or assisted living is preferred but not necessary
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the needs of the service users.
- Driving licence preferred.
