ABOUT ARCH FUTURES
Arch Futures is a supported living provider across Leicester and the wider region, supporting adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities and other complex needs to live as independently as possible in their own homes and communities. We are growing our team and are looking for compassionate, reliable Support Workers to join us across our Leicester based services.
THE ROLE
As a Support Worker you will provide person centred support to individuals in their own homes, helping them build confidence, independence and a good quality of life. Every person we support has their own needs and goals, so no two days look the same. Current vacancies are based around our LE2, LE5 and LE3 services, with further opportunities regularly opening up across other Leicester locations as they become available.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide personal care and daily living support in line with individual care and support plans
• Support with medication administration and record keeping
• Encourage and support community involvement, appointments, hobbies and social activities
• Support individuals with mental health needs using a calm, patient and person centred approach
• Complete accurate daily records and documentation using Nourish
• Work closely with the wider care team, family members and external professionals such as social workers and health teams
• Follow safeguarding procedures and report concerns promptly
• Promote choice, dignity and independence at all times
Skills and Qualifications required
• A genuine interest in supporting adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities
• Previous experience in care or support work is desirable but not essential, full training is provided
• A caring, patient and flexible approach
• Good communication and team working skills
• A full UK driving licence is an advantage for some roles but not essential for all
• Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
• Right to work in the UK
Hours per week
Full time and part time positions available Flexible shift patterns to suit your availability Includes days, evenings, weekends and sleep in shifts on a rota basis
