The role:

At Next we have a great opportunity for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our onsite nursery at the Next Head Office in Leicester. You will also have the potential to earn a discretionary 10% attendance bonus, increasing your earning potential to £14.44 per hour.



What you'll take on:

Plan and implement sophisticated, age-appropriate activities that challenge and inspire individual development.

Manage comprehensive "Records of Achievement" for your allocated children, ensuring their milestones are documented with care.

Act as a professional point of contact for families, fostering a collaborative approach to their child’s learning journey.

Work closely with parents of children with SEND to ensure seamless integration and tailored support.

Maintain a culture of vigilance, adhering to strict safeguarding and Health & Safety protocols to ensure a secure environment.

Oversee the well being of children, including nutritional needs, hygiene, and providing a comforting environment for rest and recovery.

Skills and Qualifications required

What you'll bring:

A recognised Level 3 Nursery qualification (or working towards it) and a strong command of English.

Deep practical knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and a proven track record of purposeful planning.

The ability to liaise confidently with parents, carers, and senior management while maintaining strict confidentiality.

An enthusiastic, energetic, and flexible approach. You should be someone who leads by example and is willing to support the team across all areas of the nursery operation.
