Job Overview
• Carry out servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs
• Perform vehicle health checks and identify potential issues
• Repair brakes, suspension, exhausts, engine components, and other systems
• Use diagnostic tools and interpret fault codes
• Undertake engine repairs and potential rebuilds
• Complete all work accurately and efficiently
• Maintain workshop tools and equipment
• Keep clear and accurate job records
Skills and Qualifications required
Requirements
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, or in a similar role; a minimum of one year is preferred
• Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy workshop
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
• Relevant technical qualifications, such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance, are preferred
• A full UK driving licence is preferred
• Ability to commute reliably or relocate before starting work
Hours per week
This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday availability required. The role is based in person. Monday - Friday 9am -6pm
