Job Overview
About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking Kitchen Staff to join the Shakebee team.
You will play an important role in preparing our food and drinks to a consistently high standard, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen, and helping create a great experience for every customer.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare food and drinks according to Shakebee recipes and company standards
* Follow food preparation, cooking and presentation procedures
* Maintain excellent standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and health & safety
* Keep kitchen areas, equipment and workstations clean and organised
* Ensure ingredients are stored correctly and safely
* Check stock levels and inform management when supplies are running low
* Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining quality
* Follow portion control and minimise food waste
* Work as part of a team to ensure orders are prepared accurately and quickly
* Assist with opening and closing duties
* Follow all Shakebee policies, procedures and food safety requirements
* Provide friendly and professional service when interacting with customers

Skills and Qualifications required
• Previous kitchen, restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not essential
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• High standards of cleanliness and personal hygiene
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
• A genuine interest in providing great food and customer service
