Job Summary:
We are seeking a versatile and hands-on HVAC Engineer to join our maintenance team. This role is ideal for an individual with a solid background in HVAC systems.
The successful candidate will be confident working across a variety of environments, carrying out planned, reactive, and remedial tasks to ensure buildings remain safe, functional, and well presented.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive tradesperson to contribute to the quality and reliability of our maintenance services.
Duties:
• Service, maintain, and repair a range of air conditioning and HVAC systems.
• Conduct thorough fault-finding and diagnostics to identify system issues efficiently.
• Carry out remedial works and ensure systems operate safely and efficiently.
• Install and commission air conditioning equipment where required.
• Ensure all work complies with F-Gas regulations and company safety procedures.
• Complete accurate job sheets, service records, and documentation.
• Communicate professionally with clients, providing clear job updates and recommendations.
• Travel to various client sites to carry out planned and reactive maintenance nationwide.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working condition.

Skills and Qualifications required
• F-Gas Category 1 certification (essential).
• Proven experience servicing and maintaining air conditioning systems.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of HVAC systems and industry regulations.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (essential).
• Reliable, practical, and able to deliver a high standard of workmanship across a variety of tasks.
Hours per week
45 hours per week 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday Possible for out of hours and weekend works requested
