Job Overview
As a Front Office Receptionist, you’ll be the first friendly face our guests see — making great first impressions, offering outstanding service, and bringing a positive attitude are key to success in this role. At Ibis Budget Leicester, no two days are the same. Your work will span different areas of the hotel, including checking in guests, responding to emails, supporting the food and beverage team, answering phone calls, and more. We’re looking for someone who’s attentive, proactive, and focused.

Key Responsibilities:
Guest Services:
Welcome and check-in guests, manage reservations, and handle inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
Administrative Tasks:
Process payments, manage booking platforms, and perform basic clerical duties.
Food & Beverage Support:
Assist with breakfast service and bar operations as needed.
Front Office Maintenance:
Ensure the reception area is clean, organised, and presentable.
Feedback Management:
Monitor guest reviews and communicate feedback to the team.
Shift Procedures:
Execute opening and closing procedures for the front office.
Skills and Qualifications required
Skill 1 - Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Skill 2 - Ability to multitask and work independently.
Skill 3 - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Skill 4 - Dependable, punctual, reliable, team-oriented with a proactive attitude.
English Level 1 (GCSE D-F/1-3)
Maths Level 1 (GCSE D-F/1-3)
Hours per week
20 hours per week over 5 days. Flexible in terms of hours. Shifts can vary from early to late and vary in duration.
