Job Overview
Main Tasks/Duties and Responsibilities
Mig welding experience
Reading and understanding product schematics and assembly instructions.
Verifying dimensions and product specifications.
Ensuring that all the required parts for assembly are present.
Marking cutting lines on material.
Ensuring that all parts are properly fitted, aligned and screwed in.
Ensuring that quality control standards are met.
Maintaining a production schedule.
Testing products for their functionality.
Troubleshooting and stress-testing products to minimize problems or recalls.
Reporting and detailing product malfunctions.
Adhering to assembly safety standards.
Undertaking tasks to assist directed by Line manage
Working using your initiative within agreed roles – do not wait to be asked!
Ensure compliance with agreed codes, legislation, and procedures including health and safety
Contribute to those of the team as a whole
Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, including those relating to hygiene, respect for other team members, time keeping and flexibility.
Skills and Qualifications required
Experience working in the similar business
Demonstrate knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations
Essential Abilities/ Competencies of this job role Requisite knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials common to the trade
Willing to undertake CE accreditation
Effective verbal and written skills coupled with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
Experience working in the similar business
Willing to learn and grow in the role
Demonstrate knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations
Be flexible and willing to work as part of a team
Be friendly and approachable
Good attention to detail
Good level of fitness
Able to work in all weather in an outdoor environment
Demonstrate good time management and project management skills
Hours per week
Your usual hours will be from 7 am to 3 pm, Monday -Friday (overtime at weekend can be available).
