We are looking for an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The role will involve fabrication and welding within the workshop, with some positions also requiring site installation and fitting.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has good attention to detail and can work independently or as part of a team.
Key Duties
Fabricate and assemble steel, stainless steel and aluminium components.
Read and accurately interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
Measure, mark out, cut, drill, grind and prepare materials.
MIG and TIG welding – MMA experience would be beneficial.
Use hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery safely.
Carry out quality checks to ensure work meets drawings and specifications.
Work either workshop-based or workshop and site-based, depending on the role.
Carry out installation and fitting work on site when required.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Work efficiently to meet project deadlines.
Essential Skills & Experience
Previous experience in fabrication and welding.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Good knowledge of hand and power tools.
Good understanding of measurements and basic fabrication calculations.
Good attention to detail and quality.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Full UK driving licence.
