Job Overview
The Bicycle mechanic apprenticeship is an opportunity to learn all aspects of bicycle repair and maintenance with hands of experience in a shop alongside self-directed study, one-to-one tutoring and some week long training courses in Oxford.
All the training costs and materials are paid for, plus you get paid while you learn.
In our busy shop you will get hands on experience fixing and repairing all manner of bicycles, develop customer service skills, learn about the cycling industry and work with a team of experienced mechanics.
As we are a community based business you will get to make a positive impact in many of Leicesters communities by helping with our community projects and events.
At the end of the course you will be receive industry recognise Cytec certification in bike maintenance.
Skills and Qualifications required
-Be 18-25 years old
-Functional skills entry level 3 in English and Maths or equivalent.
-Enjoy working with your hands and fixing problems
-Enjoy helping people with problems
-Love bikes and want to learn more about how to fix and use them

33.5 - 40 hours
