Food Production Operative with Farsan Ltd

Farsan Limited is a successful family run food manufacturing company specialising in the manufacture and supply of frozen vegetarian ethnic products for the catering and retail industry. Farsan produce a range of hand-crafted ethnic savouries using authentic recipes and the best quality ingredients creating a range of products with exceptional taste.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring Food Production Operative to join the already successful food manufacturing team. Farsan take the time to invest in their employees and provide excellent training and opportunities for progression and are looking for a highly motivated, proactive and organised individual who has a desire to learn how to produce various vegetarian snacks.

Key Responsibilities/Main Tasks

The role will involve supporting the present production team and will involve working in a cooler environment.
Food preparation, washing, peeling, chopping cutting, folding and frying ingredients.
Packing food products.
Using all kitchen tools and equipment correctly and safely.
Washing dishes, utensils and any other equipment at the end of the shift.
Cleaning of all work areas including wiping surfaces, workstations and equipment, sweeping and mopping.
Maintaining health and safety and food hygiene procedures.


Candidates do not need to have previous experience as Farsan will provide full training and support including food preparation, kitchen health and safety training and food hygiene. The candidate will also learn how to fold pastries.


Farsan Limited are operating in a Covid-19 secure manner to protect all staff, to support this the company have implemented new procedures in line with current Government guidelines regarding social distancing. They will provide training and full PPE as well as increased regular cleaning and sanitisation to allow for a safe work environment.

Ability to work in fast paced environment and stay calm under pressure.
Be able to work as part of a team and independently using own initiative.
Be good at multitasking and prioritising tasks.


Previous kitchen, food production or catering experience.
Food hygiene qualification.
Creative mindset.

Hours: 25 per week

Pay: National minimum wage
