As part of the Woodland Management we utilise the timber in house for firewood sales. This starts with timber extraction via tractor, thru the firewood processor, loading and unloading drying floors and finishes with deliveries of logs via a crane vehicle.

Your role as Maintenance manager:

Biomass management, maintenance of the biomass boiler (basics only). The boiler provides the heat for drying the logs and heating the workshop. It also is intrinsic to the recycling of waste from the tree surgery side of the business.
Yard management will involve: – pushing up woodchip and log piles with tele handler, ensuring a working areas are kept in a professional manner.
