Job Overview

NEW ROLES AVAILABLE We have opportunities for Support Workers to join our team working with individuals within a Supported Living environment and within the Community. As our clients have varied needs, you will be offered training for working with individuals with complex needs like Autism and Communication Needs. As a member of the team, you will be supported by a Team Leader who works solely with the individual we support and the team to ensure we are providing good quality care and that you are fulfilled within your role. We currently have permanent, part-time vacancies with flexible start dates.

The role will include the following duties: · Shopping · Meal Prep · Maintaining the home environment · Social Activities · Budgeting · Promoting independence · Building self-esteem and confidence · Assistance with personal care · Support with some healthcare tasks and/or moving and handling tasks What is a Support Worker? As a Support worker you would be part of a team providing support to an individual with additional needs to the highest standard. We recognise that to work in a care and support setting the individual is most important in ensuring that a good service is provided. Therefore, we would like to hear from people who have the following values: · Provide support with dignity and respect · Be able to work collaboratively and as part of a wider team · Be committed to delivering quality care and support · Are happy to continue to learn and reflect in an effort to always improving the support being provided and yourself · Access to a smart phone is required for this role

Shifts We have a variety of shift patterns available between the hours of 7am and 10pm with long days or half days.
