Our company currently has nationwide ink distribution presence and exporting to few countries. We have good experience in screen printing market and particularly in textile segment. Candidates must have previous plastisol ink formulation experience of working for a plastisol textile screen printing ink manufacturer. Candidates are expected to know the formulation to make plastisol inks and preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of the ink chemistry. Higher salary with incentives may be considered for the right candidate!

Main role responsibilities

  • Preparing formulation contents for commercial production of plastisol inks
  • Colour proofing 
  • Making sample batch in the Lab for customer's trial and approval using laboratory Ink Mixer and Triple Roll Mill
  • Check viscosity, tack, micron size and opacity of inks using lab equipment
  • Updating ink tech forms–Excel/IDS/CERM
  • Trouble shoot colour problems on press and at customers site
  • Conducting ink trials at customers site
  • Mix inks in line with daily production schedule
  • Colour matching by eye and using pantone formulas 
  • Provide on press and at customers site technical support for new/complex designs and customer approvals.

Key requirements

  • Good eye for colour and plastisol ink formulation experience
  • Extensive/Desirable manufacturing operations experience including experience of working in controlled areas e.g. GMP
  • Experience of screen-printing ink and particularly textile ink
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • An effective team player able to work with different departments within the business
  • Basic IT skills
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Experience of Xrite IFS v6.41 or similar
  • Extensive experience in the use of Xrite exact spectro
  • Understanding Lab Colour Space
  • Excellent attention to detail

Hours per week

9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
