Job Overview
Bitsy's Emporium is a bakery/cafe specialising in epic cake, lunch & coffee.
We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service, quality unique baked goods and amazing coffee.
We are looking for an outgoing and bubbly personality, with excellent interpersonal skills. As a member of our café staff it is absolutely essential that you are able to greet our customers in a friendly and welcoming manner and ensure they have a positive and lovely experience whilst in the café.
Experience in a similar role is advantageous. Full training will be provided.
Skills and Qualifications required
The ideal candidate will have:
- Attention to detail
- Cleanliness and allergen awareness
- Presentation and brand standards
- Barista skills and excited and willing to learn the skills required to deliver quality drinks that fit the Bitsy's Emporium brand standards.
- Kitchen duties. At Bitsy’s we offer a range of grilled sandwiches that our customers love. The ideal candidate will need to be quick on their feet and well organised in order to assist in preparing and delivering food from our menu to the highest standards.
- The ability to work as a part of a small team as well as under your own initiative. The café is a fast paced and dynamic environment and you must be able to communicate confidently and effectively with other members of the team.
- When working solo you must be able to work efficiently and use your initiative to make sure that service goes smoothly.
- Flexibility in terms of working hours. This will include at least one weekend day. Ideally we are looking to recruit for a around TWO week days and ONE weekend day. Please declare your availability when applying.
