Job Overview

Blueprint is a young, dynamic company specialising in Commercial Interior Design & Refurbishment, our success is built around our design led approach and our determination to deliver projects of the highest quality. We are now looking to recruiting an apprentice in Project Admin to join our busy, friendly team. The person should be lively, energetic, enthusiastic & intelligent who wants to work as hard as we do and to enjoy the rewards that come with it.

This position will be based out of our working showroom in Ashby-de-la-Zouch so within easy access to Leicester, Nottingham & Derby.

Key duties will involve assisting with:

- Daily general admin duties including answering the telephone, post, file maintenance and sales support.

- Customer and supplier contact via telephone, email and visits to the showroom and offices.

- Assist other members of the team in general administrative duties

- Produce O & M documentation for completed projects

- Setting up new suppliers and sub contractors and keeping information up to date

- Site set up including relevant site information boards/boxes

- Updating internal documentation including insurances and relevant accreditations

- General house keeping duties to ensure the showroom facilities kept well for client & supplier visits assisting with hospitality where required.

- Maintaining current project library and prices.

 

Essential Skills required:

- Good interpersonal skills and telephone manner, aiding in the ability to deal with a wide range of people, including suppliers and clients.

- The ability to work proactively and on own initiative, but also play a valid role in assisting to pull projects together as part of the team

- Commitment to deliver the highest level of customer service

- Being a good, creative problem solver

- Sound knowledge of Microsoft packages and the ability to learn new software packages

- Possess sound planning, administration and organisational skills

- Good literacy and numerical skills

- Work under pressure and meet required deadlines

- Strong team player

 

Desirable Skills required:

- Experience with Mac operating system beneficial but not essential

- Passion for interiors and creating better workplaces

- Driving license and own vehicle due to office location is preferred
