Job Overview

Key duties involve: - Daily general admin duties including answering the telephone, post, file maintenance and sales support. - Customer and supplier contact via telephone, email and visits to the showroom and offices. - Electronic Project file administration - Furniture buying duties: specifying products, preparing quotations, specifying placing orders, checking order acknowledgments, updating delivery schedules. - Assisting with presentations to support quotations - Updating internal documentation including insurances and relevant accreditations - General house keeping duties to ensure the showroom facilities kept well for client & supplier visits. - Attending supplier updates to keep - Maintaining current product library and prices. - Updating customer & supplier details via our internal CRM Essential

Qualifications Required

Key duties involve: - Daily general admin duties including answering the telephone, post, file maintenance and sales support. - Customer and supplier contact via telephone, email and visits to the showroom and offices. - Electronic Project file administration - Furniture buying duties: specifying products, preparing quotations, specifying placing orders, checking order acknowledgments, updating delivery schedules. - Assisting with presentations to support quotations - Updating internal documentation including insurances and relevant accreditations - General house keeping duties to ensure the showroom facilities kept well for client & supplier visits. - Attending supplier updates to keep - Maintaining current product library and prices. - Updating customer & supplier details via our internal CRM Essential Skills required: - Good interpersonal skills and telephone manner, aiding in the ability to deal with a wide range of people, including suppliers and clients. - The ability to work proactively and on own initiative, but also play a valid role in pulling projects together as part of the team - Commitment to deliver the highest level of customer service - Being a good, creative problem solver - Sound knowledge of Microsoft packages and the ability to learn new software packages - Possess sound planning, administration and organisational skills - Good literacy and numerical skills - Driving license and own vehicle due to office location - Identify and make improvements to best working practices - Work under pressure and meet required deadlines - Strong team player Desirable Skills required: - Experience of working in a similar office environment - Knowledge of commercial office furniture - Experience with Mac operating system beneficial but not essential - Passion for interiors and creating better workplaces The right candidate will: - Have an enthusiastic and imaginative approach to their work combined with a mature & responsible attitude to the job.
