Job Overview

The Learning Support Centre provides bespoke support to disable people in Higher Education and in the workplace, who are looking to recruit a Level 3 Business Administrator.

What you will do in your working day
To accurately input data on to CRM system
To support coordinators with administrative tasks
To ensure paperwork is prepared, and that accurate minutes are taken and written up within a timely manner for meetings and training as requested
To ensure resources are kept up to date
To support the maintenance of the office to a high standard
To input data onto the office administrative systems as required

Customer service:
To respond and deal with customer enquiries as required in a polite and professional manner
To respond to stakeholders as required in a polite and professional manner
To work with colleagues in a polite and professional manner and ensure support staff are given the appropriate support in carrying out their role

To maintain a high standard of presentation whilst representing The Learning Support Centre
To respect confidentiality to the agreed disclosure levels
To be aware of the Health and Safety regulations and your duties, and ensure that all personnel do all that is reasonably practicable to maintain a safe and healthy work environment, raising any concerns immediately with your line manager.
To have regard for risk assessments and ensure compliance with company and statutory requirements, raising any concerns immediately with your line manager.
To inform The Learning Support Centre of any problems you are having that are either work related or effect your work, we can then help you come to a satisfactory conclusion or adapt your work to support your situation
To represent The Learning Support Centre in a professional and service orientated manner. This includes adhering to our stringent policies including those on confidentiality, equality, and safeguarding.
To actively manage personal development in agreement with your line manager.
To undertake other duties as may be reasonably required by The Learning Support Centre.

Professional Development:
The Learning Support Centre is committed to the regular monitoring and review of individual performance and to maintaining open and participative communications within the team. Professional development and access to appropriate training is part of this and there will be regular review sessions with your line manager.

This role description may be subject to review in light of the developing organisation and in consultation with the post holder

The training you will be getting:
On successful completion of the apprenticeship, the postholder will achieve a Level 3 Business Administration qualification.
The apprentice will attend Leicester College one day every two weeks.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship:
There may be an opportunity for a permanent role at the end of this apprenticeship. During this apprenticeship, you will gain many transferable skills that can be applied in different businesses.

GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4 / C) Essential

Hours per week

The working week is Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm. Total hours per week: 40
