Job Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring Office Administrator to join a successful Asian food manufacturing employer who really invest in their employees and provide excellent training and opportunities for progression.

The administrator will be professional, extremely organised and have excellent communication skills along with the ability to use Microsoft Excel and Word. The successful candidate will have a good attention to detail, the ability to stay calm under pressure, be good at juggling tasks and prioritising and be a great team player.

This role will consist of the below duties:

  • Supporting the ordering of food deliveries and collections
  • Answering telephones and incoming emails
  • Collation of job sheets and timesheets
  • Costing of completed jobs
  • General filing, photocopying and scanning
  • Credit Control
  • Emailing out invoices to clients
  • Creating invoices / purchase orders
  • Responding to queries and collating relevant information
  • Any other duties within a reasonable request for an apprentice.

Qualifications Required

Personal qualities Good communication skills via face-to-face, phone and email. Determined approach to problem-solving and a can-do attitude. A creative mindset. Works well as part of a small team. An interest in business administration.

Hours per week

37.5 hrs per week (Monday to Friday 09.00 – 17.00hrs)
