Job Overview

Blueprint is a young, dynamic company specialising in Commercial Interior Design & Refurbishment, our success is built around our design led approach and our determination to deliver projects of the highest quality. We are now looking to recruiting an apprentice in Accounts Finance to join our busy, friendly team. The person should be lively, energetic, enthusiastic & intelligent who wants to work as hard as we do and to enjoy the rewards that come with it.

This position will be based out of our working showroom in Ashby-de-la-Zouch so within easy access to Leicester, Nottingham & Derby.

Key duties involve assisting with:

- Processing of purchase invoices, matching P/O’s, reconciling monthly statements

- Preparation of monthly payment run

- Credit control duties, raising sales invoices, sending statements & chasing outstanding invoices - Assisting with job costings

- Process staff expenses per month

- Processing credit card statements

- Setting up new supplier accounts and keeping them up to date

- General Ad hoc administrative duties and finance work as needed

 

Future Progressive roles:

- Assisting with the preparation of financial information for Management review

- Accruals & pre payments

- Bank reconciliations

- Month end journals

- Month end analysis

- CIS/PAYE/CITB/VAT monthly returns

 

Essential Skills required:

- Being a good, creative problem solver

- Good attention to detail

- Good literacy and numerical skills

- Driving license and own vehicle due to office location preferred

- Work under pressure and meet required deadlines

- Strong team player Desirable Skills required:

- Experience using Microsoft packages, Excel & Word

- Experience with Mac operating system beneficial but not essential
