Role Summary
Bombay Street Kitchen are modern Indian Street Kitchen, serving up a new take on Indian street food. Bombay Street Kitchen allows you to experience the true flavours of Bombay with each snack cooked to perfection, representing the true taste of Bombay.

Bombay Street Kitchen are looking for keen, eager and hardworking Kitchen Operatives & Service Staff Members who are enthusiastic and passionate about food and cooking. The successful candidate will be working front of house meeting customers and taking orders as well as in the kitchen preparing dishes.

Key Responsibilities/Main Tasks
Taking food and drink orders.
Serving customers using epos tills, taking card and cash payments and cash handling.
Prepping food items including chopping and marinading.
Cooking and warming of food items.
Packing customer orders safely into correct packaging for collection or delivery ensuring food orders remain warm and fresh.
General Housekeeping, cleaning of all areas and end of service wash down.
Using all equipment in a safe manner.
Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment.

Training
Full training will be provided for all preparation and cooking requirements, with training sheets provided, therefore experience is not essential however a willingness to learn and develop is required. The candidate will receive health and safety and food hygiene training.

Covid-19
Bombay Street Kitchen are operating in a Covid-19 secure manner including maintaining social distancing and enhanced cleaning and sanitisation of the store and kitchen areas. Masks and visors will be provided for staff and screens are in place to protect staff and customers, in accordance with government guidelines.

Essential:

Desirable:
Previous kitchen experience.
Previous cooking experience – personal or professional.
Passion for food and cooking.
Food hygiene qualification.
