Kickstart Application
Leicester City Council is seeking applications from businesses based in Leicester who would like to form part of the Leicester City Council Kickstart Gateway Intermediary application.
To apply to offer a Kickstart placement(s) from potentially early 2021.
The Kickstart scheme will provide financial support to businesses looking to create a new job opportunity for a 16-24 year old within their organisation paying the national minimum wage, including NI and pension contribution. The young person will be currently claiming universal credit.
If your business is based outside of the Leicester city boundary (you can check that here), you'll need to apply through the relevant Kickstart gateway for your area. This can be found using the link below.

We particularly welcome applications from businesses who are willing to help under represented groups. In particular, we would welcome interest from the following sectors:
• Creative Industries
• Construction
• Manufacturing
• Tourism and Hospitality
• Health & Social Care
• Public Sector
Please note: Companies who do not have a Companies House number or charity number will not be eligible currently.
